but unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

but for Cain and his offering He had no respect. So Cain became extremely angry (indignant), and he looked annoyed and hostile.
But for Cain and his offering He had no respect or regard. So Cain was exceedingly angry and indignant, and he looked sad and depressed.
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
but he did not have regard for Cain and his offering. Cain was furious, and he looked despondent.
but didn’t look favorably on Cain and his sacrifice. Cain became very angry and looked resentful.
but did not accept Kayin and his offering. Kayin was very angry, and his face fell.
but not with Cain and his offering. This made Cain so angry that he could not hide his feelings.
and upon Cain, and on his offering, he did not look. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
But to Cain and his offerings he had no respect: and Cain was exceedingly angry, and his countenance fell.
But he did not accept Cain and his offering. Cain was sad because of this, and he became very angry.
But God was not pleased with Cain and his gift. So Cain became very angry. His face looked sad.
but he did not look favorably on Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and his face showed it.
but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

but he did not ·accept [look with favor on] Cain and his ·gift [tribute]. So Cain became very angry and ·felt rejected [or felt dejected; L his face/countenance fell].

but he rejected Cain and his offering. Cain became furious, and he scowled in anger.

But God did not accept Cain and his gift. Cain became very angry and looked unhappy.
but he did not look favorably upon Cain and his offering. When Cain became very upset and depressed,
but he did not look upon Cain and his present. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Time passed. Cain brought an offering to God from the produce of his farm. Abel also brought an offering, but from the firstborn animals of his herd, choice cuts of meat. God liked Abel and his offering, but Cain and his offering didn’t get his approval. Cain lost his temper and went into a sulk.
but for Cain and for his offering, He did not have respect. And Cain was very angry and his countenance fell.

soothly he beheld not to Cain and to his gifts. And Cain was wroth greatly, and his cheer felled down (And Cain was greatly angered, and his face fell).
and unto Cain and unto his present He hath not looked; and it is very displeasing to Cain, and his countenance is fallen.
